Introducing the practice of Lectio Divina. Reading, Recognising, Responding, Resting-in, and Reflection on the Sunday Gospel. The Lenten series commences on Ash Wednesday 6 March 2019 & will run consecutively for the 6 weeks of Lent. There will be 2 sessions, either Wednesday 6 March at 11:30am or Thursday 7 March at 8:15pm.

St Clare’s Convent, Glenvale, Newry

During the period of Lent there will be a Guided Retreat in St Clare’s Convent, Glenvale, in preparation for the beautiful feast of Easter. Retreat begins Sun 10 March at 7:30pm & concludes Sun 14 April at 7:30pm.
The Retreat has two components:
a) Participants meet with their guide ONE DAY each week at a time and day suitable to both or Meet in a small group with their guide one day each week.
b) Participants pray for about half an hour each day on the material given to them by their guide and the weekly meeting.
